In Adana's Seyhan district, on October 19, 17-year-old A.E., who shot 15-year-old Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu in the head with a handgun as he sat at the cash register in a cleaning products shop, was caught while preparing to flee to Mersin and was arrested. It emerged that the attack was carried out because of a debt owed by the child's older brother, Ümit Musaoğlu. The child, who is in intensive care, remains in critical condition.
The 17-year-old A.E., who shot and seriously wounded 15-year-old Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was at the cash register in a shop selling cleaning products in Adana, in the head with a pistol, was arrested.
THEY CAME ON A MOTORCYCLE AND SHOT HIM
The incident occurred at around 17:30 on October 19 in the Dağlıoğlu neighborhood of Seyhan district. A.E., one of two people who went to the cleaning products shop by motorcycle, shot Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was sitting at the cash register, in the head with a pistol. The suspect left the workplace and fled with the other person waiting for him. Musaoğlu, who was seriously wounded, was taken to the hospital by car by those around. It was stated that Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was taken to the intensive care unit of Adana City Training and Research Hospital for treatment, remains in life-threatening condition.
CAUGHT WHILE PREPARING TO FLEE TO MERSIN
Teams from the Homicide Bureau, examining security camera footage in the area, determined that suspect A.E. was making preparations to flee to Mersin. Teams conducting research along the escape route detained A.E., who was determined to be hiding at an address on Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard in Seyhan district. During the investigation, it emerged that Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu was subjected to an armed attack due to the debt of his older brother Ümit Musaoğlu. It was alleged that the suspect was directed by A.A., to whom Musaoğlu was indebted.
DRIVER WHO HELPED HIM ESCAPE IS BEING SOUGHT
After procedures at the police station, A.E. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court he appeared before. Police continue their work to catch the motorcycle driver who took A.E. to the scene and helped him escape.

Father Ercüment Musaoğlu, who made a statement after the horrific incident, stated that their family had a debt of 30 thousand lira and alleged that money far exceeding the debt amount was demanded.
