In Tunceli, 64-year-old Hasan Temur, who previously owned a restaurant, carried out an armed attack on the new owners, killing one person and seriously injuring another. The attacker, Hasan Temur, died of a heart attack in the prison where he was sent after being arrested.

The incident occurred on 29.08.2025 at a restaurant located on Cumhuriyet Street in the Moğultay neighborhood of Tunceli. According to the information obtained, Hasan Temur (64), who had previously owned the restaurant, opened fire with a gun on the new owners of the restaurant, Hasan Çetin (52) and A.İ.B. (50), seriously injuring them.
THE ATTACKER WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY The attacker was stopped and taken into custody by a police officer present in the restaurant during the attack. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured, who received first aid at the scene from the medical teams, were transported to the hospital by ambulances. While the seriously injured restaurant owner Hasan Çetin died at Tunceli State Hospital, the other injured person, A.İ.B., was transferred to Elazığ Fethi Sekin City Hospital for treatment.

The suspect named Hasan Temur was transferred from Tunceli to Erzincan Closed Penal Institution due to health issues. Temur, who suffered a heart attack in the prison where he was held, was transferred to Erzincan Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital, but despite all interventions made here, he could not be saved and died.
