A 24-year-old young man lost his life after being electrocuted by a high voltage line at a transformer of an idle factory in the Turgutlu district of Manisa.
Engin Dalmış, a 24-year-old from Turgutlu district of Manisa, was found dead in the transformer of a brick factory that had not been in operation for a long time.
The incident occurred in the afternoon at the idle factory located on 217th Street in Atatürk Neighborhood, in the Koşukırı area. Citizens who noticed a person lying motionless on the ground in the area of the transformer reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE WAS ELECTROCUTED
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. In the examination conducted by the medical teams, it was determined that Engin Dalmış had lost his life after being electrocuted by the high voltage line in the transformer.
Dalmış's body was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
