The transformation experienced by Cemil Şimşek, a tailor in Antalya, after his cancer treatment has left people astonished. After starting smart drug therapy, Şimşek's predominantly white beard and hair turned black.
Cemil Şimşek (55), who is undergoing cancer treatment in Antalya, was surprised when he saw that his hair and beard, which were predominantly white, turned black after treatment.
Cemil Şimşek, who works as a tailor in Antalya, went to Antalya Education and Research Hospital in 2022 with complaints of abdominal pain. After the tests, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. The cancerous part of Şimşek's intestine was removed through surgery and chemotherapy was applied. While undergoing chemotherapy, Şimşek also started smart drug treatment. After a while, his hair, beard, and body hair fell out. After completing the treatment, Şimşek noticed changes in his body and was surprised when his hair and beard grew. He consulted his doctor to find out why his hair and beard, which were mostly white before cancer treatment, turned black. He received the answer that it was due to the effect of the smart drug.

Cemil Şimşek stated that the change became a subject of jokes among his friends and said, "The most noticeable change in my body was the blackening of my beard. My beard was white in photos from 3-4 years ago. People don't believe I'm 55 years old when they see me. I'm happy with this situation. People dye their hair and beard."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karaca from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine said that patients ask many questions about smart drugs. He stated that with the discovery of human cell DNA 24 years ago, the DNA of cancer cells also became known. "If we know the mutation that causes cancer, special drugs have been developed for this mutation. Smart drugs are applied to more than 30 types of cancer that we commonly see, such as breast, lung, colon, skin, head-neck," said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karaca.
