In Bagcilar, during an argument that broke out due to noise, Hakki Tekdemir shot and injured his neighbors Bilal Berber and his son-in-law Kemal Yildirim. In Bagcilar, Hakki Tekdemir (48) shot his neighbor Bilal Berber (53) and his son-in-law Kemal Yildirim (24) in a fight over noise. While Berber and Yildirim, seriously injured, continue their treatment at the hospital, Tekdemir was apprehended by police teams shortly after.
WENT OUT DUE TO NOISE, BOTH HE AND HIS SON-IN-LAW WERE SHOT
The incident occurred around 00:30 in an apartment building in Fatih District. According to the information obtained, Bilal Berber, who left his apartment due to the noise in the building, encountered Hakki Tekdemir, who lives on the lower floor. As the argument between the two quickly escalated, Tekdemir drew the pistol he had with him and fired at Berber.
Berber's son-in-law Kemal Yildirim, who heard the gunshots, also came out to the apartment building. Tekdemir also fired at Yildirim. Bilal Berber, shot in the chest, and Kemal Yildirim, wounded in the head and back, collapsed in a pool of blood. Hakki Tekdemir fled the scene.
Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The injured, who received first aid at the scene, were taken to the hospital by ambulances.
TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
It was learned that Berber and Yildirim, who were taken under treatment, remain in critical condition. Public Order Bureau teams examined the surrounding security cameras and captured the suspect Hakki Tekdemir. It was determined that Berber and Yildirim were shot with the pistol fired by Tekdemir. The suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
