25-year-old Erdoğan Ateş, despite being 85% disabled from birth, worked approximately 10 hours a day as a scrap dealer to support his family and cover medical expenses. It was stated that Ateş was the only breadwinner in his family, and he expressed that he had an 80-90% chance of recovery after a treatment process costing 1.5 million TL, trying to hold on to life.
