The ousted leader of Syria, Bashar al-Assad's torturer, Talal Al-Dakkak, has been captured. Al-Dakkak, who is said to be executed, was known for feeding Syrian opposition members he tortured to lions.
General Ali Mahmud, who was the right-hand man of Bashar al-Assad's brother Mahir Assad, was found dead in his headquarters office in Damascus. A gun was also found next to the body of Ali Mahmud, who was responsible for overseeing the torture of Syrian civilians and was blamed for the deaths of thousands.

Another torturer of Assad, Talal Al-Dakkak, was also captured. In a statement from Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), it was announced that Al-Dakkak would be executed in the Asi Square in Hama. Al-Dakkak was known for feeding the Syrian opponents he tortured to the lions he kept.
