It was understood in the investigation that the person, who collected money from passengers by showing a photo of a little girl on his mobile phone, was neither married nor had a child.

The incident occurred on a tram operating in Eskişehir. The person who boarded the tram showed a photo of a little girl on his mobile phone and claimed that his daughter was hospitalized and receiving treatment, asking passengers for financial help.
MUNICIPAL POLICE CAUGHT HIM: SINGLE AND NO CHILD
Upon noticing the situation, teams from the Odunpazarı Municipality Municipal Police Directorate took action, caught the person, and launched an investigation. In the identity inquiry, it was determined that the person had come to Eskişehir from Kastamonu, and it was revealed that he was single and had no children.

While the money collected by exploiting emotions on the tram was seized to be transferred to public ownership, judicial and administrative criminal proceedings were applied under the relevant legislation against the person who deceived citizens with unfounded stories.
