In a live broadcast he participated in after the fire, Woods, who was seeking sympathy and crying for help, said, "One day you're swimming in the pool, the next day you have nothing."

While firefighting teams battle the flames, a state of emergency has been declared across the state. As famous individuals evacuate their homes, new evacuation orders have been issued for over 100,000 residents in the area. It is estimated that at least 2,000 homes have been turned to ashes in the fires that have claimed the lives of five people.

Actor James Woods was among those who shared a video of the flames burning on a hill near his home. In a short clip posted on X, Woods said, "I am preparing to evacuate."
OVERWHELMED WITH TEARS
Woods, who shared his experiences on a CNN broadcast, was overwhelmed with tears. He said, "I'm sorry, but one day you are swimming in the pool, and the next day everything is gone. But he (his nephew) brought his piggy bank and gave it to us to help rebuild our home," asking for help.
