Istanbulspor, one of the teams in the Trendyol 1st League, announced that young football player Baran Alp Vardar, who had been undergoing cancer treatment for a while, has passed away.
The 20-year-old football player Baran Alp Vardar from Istanbulspor, a team in the TFF 1st League, passed away at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
In a statement made by the yellow-black club, the following was expressed:
"We are in great pain and deep sorrow. We are experiencing the profound sadness of losing our beloved Baran Alp Vardar, who has been undergoing cancer treatment for a while. Baran Alp, who will always be remembered for his character, dedication to his teammates, and his smiling face, will always live in the heart of our community. His departure from us at such an early age has deeply hurt us all. We pray for the deceased football player Baran Alp Vardar, and we wish patience and condolences to his precious family, his close ones, his teammates, and our community. May your place be paradise, Baran Alp. We will never forget you."
The deceased football player had been receiving treatment for about 1.5 years. Baran Alp Vardar's body will be buried after the funeral prayer to be held today at noon at the Beylikdüzü Mevlana Mosque.
