In the Bafra district of Samsun, 17-year-old Oğuzhan Tural lost his life after being hit by a passenger bus. The accident occurred on the Samsun-Sinop road during the night hours. According to allegations, the bus struck Tural as he attempted to cross by jumping over the barriers; the seriously injured young man could not be saved at the hospital.
Oğuzhan Tural (17), who was hit by a passenger bus in the Bafra district of SAMSUN, lost his life.
The accident occurred around 01:00 on the Samsun-Sinop road, opposite a wedding hall. According to allegations, the passenger bus with license plate 55 VE 465, driven by U.K., hit Oğuzhan Tural, who was trying to cross the road by jumping over the barriers.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Tural, who was thrown by the impact, hit his head on the roadside and was seriously injured. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the region upon notification. After the medical teams' first intervention, Tural was taken to Bafra State Hospital by ambulance. Tural lost his life there.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
