It was learned that the grieving family had lost another one of their children to drowning approximately 10 years earlier.
A wide-ranging investigation has been launched by judicial and law enforcement units regarding this heart-wrenching mysterious incident. The discovery of the lifeless bodies of three siblings, Gülşah Sakar (24), Muhammed Ali Sakar (17), and Belinay Sakar (15), washing ashore one after another at Cami Mahallesi Şehit Cevher Dudayev Parkı Sahili caused great sorrow.
FOURTH SIBLING FOUND ALIVE
Within the scope of the search and examination efforts coordinately carried out by police and Coast Guard teams, Bilgenur Sakar, the family's fourth child reported missing, was found alive at a different location outside the sea. In their initial statements, the grieving family stated they had no information about how the incident unfolded. INITIAL AUTOPSY FINDINGS: PRESSURE-RELATED BLEEDING
Notable details were identified in the initial autopsy examination conducted on the bodies of the siblings:
- One of the siblings was found to have bleeding in the ears, considered to be pressure-related, and traces of blood in the nose.
- In the initial findings, the cause of death was evaluated as drowning.
- No traces of assault, struggle, or injuries from sharp objects or firearms were found on the bodies.
- The definitive cause of death will be confirmed following a detailed report to be prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institute.
EYEWITNESSES SPOKE
During the field investigations conducted regarding the day of the incident, the statements of eyewitnesses were taken. Some witnesses stated that they saw the 4 siblings before the incident at the seaside arbors with stairs located on the Darıca Shore. According to the statements, while the two sisters were sitting in the arbor, the other two siblings occasionally rode bicycles on the bicycle path. Additionally, the final moments of the 3 siblings heading towards the coastal road on the day of the incident were captured by a business's security camera. In the footage, the siblings are seen walking together towards the shore direction on Eski Hükümet Caddesi in the Zincirlikuyu neighborhood.
