In the traffic accident that occurred when a truck rear-ended a car waiting at a red light at the harbor area of the Black Sea Coastal Road in Giresun, the identities of 5 people from the same family who lost their lives and 6 injured individuals have been determined. It was learned that the family had set out from Istanbul to the Arsin district of Trabzon for the Eid al-Adha holiday.
In a traffic accident where a truck hit two cars in Giresun, 5 people lost their lives, and the details that emerged about the accident were heartbreaking.
TRUCK HIT VEHICLES STOPPED AT THE LIGHTS
According to the information obtained, around 01:45 at night, a truck with license plate 55 K 4065 driven by M.U., traveling from Ordu to Trabzon, rear-ended a car with license plate 34 PM 61 driven by Ali Yıldız (45), which was waiting at the lights near Giresun Port on the Black Sea Coastal Road.
5 PEOPLE FROM THE SAME FAMILY DIED
The vehicle, thrown by the impact, hit the car with license plate 34 PN 09 driven by Ferhat Yıldız (45) which was in front. That car was also flung forward and hit the car driven by Köksal Yusuf Halil (31), which was waiting at the red light in front. In the chain-reaction accident involving 4 vehicles, Ali Yıldız, along with Melek Yıldız (40), Hamza Yıldız (7), Hasan Yıldız (7), and Sadem Yağmur Yıldız (15) from the same family in the same car, lost their lives, while Rana Meltem Yıldız (20) was seriously injured.
6 PEOPLE ARE STILL UNDER TREATMENT
The truck driver M.U. (59), who caused the accident, was also seriously injured, while Ferhat Yıldız, Fatma Yıldız, Rana Yıldız, Sümeyye Yıldız (9), and Eymen Yıldız (16) were taken under treatment at hospitals in Giresun.
