The heavy rain affecting Ordu and Giresun adversely impacted daily life. Due to the rainfall, water floods occurred in some workplaces in the districts of Fatsa, Altınordu, Kabadüz, and Gürgentepe.

RAIN CONTINUES INTERMITTENTLY

In Fatsa, some streets and avenues remained under water as a result of clogged manholes and water channels. Municipal teams started cleaning operations with construction machinery.

Meanwhile, landslides occurred in some neighborhoods due to the rain, and the flow rate of some rivers and streams increased.

Teams continue their efforts to eliminate potential disruptions in transportation and to make roads safe.

10 VILLAGE ROADS CLOSED TO TRAFFIC

In Giresun, the downpour that started last night across the province continues to be effective from time to time.

Floods and landslides occurred on some neighborhood and village roads as a result of the downpour. The Yağlıdere-Espiye highway, which was closed as a precaution, was opened to controlled traffic.

Due to the rain, 8 village roads in Espiye and 2 village roads in Dereli were closed to traffic. The ground floors of some houses and workplaces in the provincial center and its districts were flooded.
