PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN HIMSELF WILL PIN THE BADGE
Journalist Fatih Atik claimed that President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a meeting with Köksal in Ankara last night. Accordingly, Köksal will officially join the AK Party on Wednesday, May 13. President Erdoğan will personally pin the badge on Köksal at the AK Party's parliamentary group meeting.
Atik also claimed that Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özaslan, who resigned from the CHP, and other names will join the AK Party on the same day.

Meanwhile, following claims that she was being threatened through him, Köksal's husband Yasin Köksal broke his silence. Speaking to journalist Barış Yarkadaş from tv100, Yasin Köksal confirmed the claims that his wife Burcu Köksal would move to the AK Party, saying, "It is Mrs. Burcu's own choice. Mrs. Burcu will move to the AK Party at the AK Party Provincial Chairmen's meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday."

Yasin Köksal, who said he could not practice journalism due to his wife being a politician and works in livestock farming, denied the claims that his wife was threatened through him, stating, "No one can threaten us," and emphasized that it was his duty as a husband to stand by Burcu Köksal.
"THERE IS NO INVESTIGATION INTO ME"
According to Yarkadaş, Yasin Köksal said the following: "Yasin Köksal, there are claims that there is an investigation into you. I asked, 'Are you moving to the AK Party to get rid of these claims?' He said, 'There is no investigation into me. I am not involved in active politics. I have no role in the municipality. I am not a municipal employee. I raise sheep.'"
"HIS AMBITIONS NEVER ENDED"
Then he said: One of the former youth branch managers of the Republican People's Party in Afyonkarahisar wanted to become a municipal council member before the election. However, Mrs. Burcu did not find this person politically sufficient and did not include him on her list. Consequently, she did not put him on the list. But, he said, this person's ambitions never ended. This time, he said, the Afyonkarahisar Municipality has a company called Yüntaş. He wanted to become the legal advisor of this Yüntaş.
