In Turkey, the housing sales data for the year 2025 was evaluated on a district basis. According to the announced list, Esenyurt ranked first in the district distribution, while only four districts from Istanbul made it into the top 30.
According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, a total of 1 million 688 thousand 910 housing sales were made across the country in 2025. When looking at the provincial basis, Istanbul was the city with the highest number of housing sales, with 280 thousand 262 units sold.
THE MOST HOUSES SOLD IN ESENYURT
In the district-based ranking, Istanbul's Esenyurt district took the top spot. Following Esenyurt, Ankara's Çankaya district was next, while Antalya's Kepez and Gaziantep's Şehitkamil districts were positioned in the upper ranks of the list.
4 DISTRICTS FROM ISTANBUL ON THE LIST
Among the top 30 districts with the highest housing sales, only Esenyurt, Pendik, Başakşehir, and Bahçelievler from Istanbul were included. This table revealed that while Istanbul maintained its leadership in total sales, other major cities stood out in terms of district-based sales.
Seven districts from Ankara made it to the list, while three districts from Antalya were in the top 30. Two districts each from Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Kayseri, and Mersin were also included in the ranking.
DIYARBAKIR LICE LEADS IN SALES RATE
When examining the sales growth rates, Diyarbakır's Lice district drew attention. Housing sales in Lice increased by 148.6 percent compared to the previous year. In Istanbul, Beykoz and Güngören districts stood out with their sales growth rates.
Among the districts with the highest housing sales relative to the population, Yalova Armutlu, Bolu Mudurnu, and Tekirdağ Marmaraereğlisi were included. It was observed that housing sales in these districts occurred at significantly high levels compared to the current population.
