NATO has made a statement regarding the Iranian missile shot down in Hatay. In the statement, NATO spokesperson said, "We condemn Iran's targeting of Turkey and stand by our allies, including Turkey, in the face of Iran's indiscriminate attacks in the region."

NATO made a statement regarding the missile fired from Iran that was directed towards Turkish airspace after passing through the airspace of Iraq and Syria and was destroyed.

The Ministry of National Defense announced that the ballistic ammunition identified as being fired from Iran and directed towards Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean. The ministry also reported that the fragment of the ammunition fell in the Dörtyol district of Hatay province and that there were no casualties or injuries in the incident.

In the written statement made by the ministry, the following expressions were included:

"A ballistic ammunition identified as being fired from Iran and directed towards Turkish airspace after passing through the airspace of Iraq and Syria was timely engaged and neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean."

NATO also issued a condemnation message regarding the missile shot down in Hatay. "We condemn Iran's targeting of Turkey. NATO stands firmly with all its allies, including Turkey, against the indiscriminate attacks carried out by Iran throughout the region," the statement said. A NATO spokesperson stated, "Our deterrence and defense posture remains strong in all areas, including air and missile defense."
