A 15-year-old high school student, Birkan Demirel, lost his life due to a heart attack in the Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak. The sudden death of the young man, who was learned to have lost his father a month ago, caused great sorrow in the district.
HE FAINTED AT HOME
When Birkan Demirel suddenly fell ill at his home at night, his family notified the 112 Emergency Health teams. The young man, who received first aid from the health teams arriving at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Demirel, who was determined to have had a heart attack during examinations at the Karadeniz Ereğli State Hospital, could not be saved despite all efforts by the doctors.
PAINFUL COINCIDENCE
It was learned that Birkan Demirel, a 9th-grade student at Ereğli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, had lost his father approximately one month ago.
The young student's body was laid to rest at Kaptaş Cemetery.
