GULSU'S BROTHER, WHO READ A POEM TO ERDOGAN, COULD NOT HOLD BACK HIS TEARS
In Kırklareli, the brother of little Gülsu, who gained millions of views for reading a poem to President Erdoğan, could not hold back his tears during the reception. When the video of Gülsu reading the poem was played, President Erdoğan hugged Gülsu's crying brother.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's reception speech is as follows;
"Dear children, I greet you with love. I am happy to host you, our children, in the nation's home. Welcome to our Complex. I kiss each of your eyes and heartily celebrate your Children's Day. I congratulate all children on their holiday. Last week, we experienced two sad events. I ask for God's mercy for the lives we lost in the attacks. I wish a speedy recovery to the citizens who are still receiving treatment.
I respectfully commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who dedicated April 23 to children, his comrades-in-arms, and the valuable members of our Parliament who successfully carried out the National Struggle.
Here, I would like to express to you with all my heart: with your bright shining eyes, your faces as pure as the sky, and your compassionate hearts, each of you is our hope. With every meeting with our dear ones like you, my belief in Turkey's bright future increases. Because in the future, you will sit in these seats, you will come to these positions, God willing. You will serve your country and nation in the best way in the tasks you undertake. I know that very valuable names will emerge from among you.
Just have confidence in yourselves. Do not give up working in a disciplined manner. The rest is a matter of patience and time. Whatever we do today, we do it to realize your dreams.
