Levent İnanır, the nephew of Turkish cinema's legendary figure Kadir İnanır, shared the emotional testament of the master artist with the press. Reminding that his uncle donated all his organs years ago, İnanır conveyed that the master actor said, "I am most curious about those who take my heart and eyes."
Kadir İnanır, who fell ill on May 14 and was hospitalized, and had been receiving intensive care for a long time, passed away at the age of 77 due to multiple organ failure. A commemoration ceremony for the master artist will be held today at 13:00 at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage.
Speaking before the commemoration ceremony, Kadir İnanır's nephew, actor Levent İnanır, shared deeply emotional and meaningful details about the master artist's will with the press for the first time.
"HE HAD DONATED HIS ORGANS"
Levent İnanır, facing the cameras, recalled the master actor's decision made years ago that would set an example for everyone, upon a reporter's question: "Was there a task or special wish he wanted done in his final moments?" Stating that Kadir İnanır's will was very beautiful and meaningful, his nephew announced that the famous artist had donated his organs.

Levent İnanır conveyed his uncle's touching will, which had also appeared in a newspaper interview, with these words: "His will is very beautiful. A newspaper had written about it; he had donated his organs. He had said, 'I mostly wonder who took my heart and eyes.' That's the will he had."
This meaningful legacy left by the Yeşilçam icon—not only through his art and stance but also through his desire to give life to other bodies even after his passing—was met with great appreciation and respect on social media.
