EDUCATION AND CAREER
Born in 1982 in Istanbul, Barış Göktürk graduated from Saint Benoit French High School and continued his education in the United States at the University of California, majoring in Business Economics. He returned to Turkey in 2005 and began taking an active role in the family business.
SUCCESSES IN THE BUSINESS WORLD
Since 2009, Göktürk has served as Chairman of the Executive Board, expanding his company internationally. Under the umbrella of Göktürk Holding, operations are carried out in various sectors such as industry, trade, media, construction, real estate, agriculture, and livestock.
The group, with an annual turnover of approximately $220 million, continues its investments in Turkey as well as in the USA and Germany. It has undertaken significant projects, particularly in the iron-steel and commercial real estate sectors.
INTERNATIONAL STEPS
Göktürk accelerated his growth by acquiring Ramateks Metal, operating in the USA, in 2013, and went public with Yükselen Çelik in 2019. In 2022, he was included in Ekonomist magazine's list of “40 business people under 40.”
CONNECTION WITH FENERBAHÇE
Barış Göktürk served as a Board Member of Fenerbahçe Football AŞ for the 2024-2025 term. He also played an active role within the club as the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fenerbahçe Development Platform.
