In the Arac district of Kastamonu, 3 people lost their lives and 1 person was seriously injured in an accident when a car hit a retaining wall.
THEY DIED AT THE SCENE
The accident occurred at the junction of the Kastamonu-Karabuk highway Müslimler village turnoff in the Arac district. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 54 AGG 037, driven by Bilal Sarikulce (71), hit the retaining wall on the roadside after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
In the accident, the driver, his wife Melahat Sarikulce (66), and Mustafa Kulte (63) died at the scene, while Nezahat Kulte (62) was injured.
THE INJURED PERSON'S CONDITION IS SERIOUS
Citizens who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, fire brigade, medical, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured person, who received first aid from medical teams at the scene, was taken to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that the life-threatening condition of the injured person under treatment continues.
The bodies of the citizens who lost their lives in the accident were removed from the vehicle after investigations by the public prosecutor and gendarmerie teams and taken to the Arac State Hospital morgue by a funeral vehicle.
