Journalist Can Özçelik, speaking on a program broadcast on TGRT, shared striking backstage information. Özçelik claimed that Mansur Yavaş's low profile in the process was a deliberate choice.
Özçelik stated, 'There were criticisms about not going to headquarters, going to the parliament, why he didn't come to headquarters when he returned, and why he wasn't part of the resistance. All of these were decided together with Mansur Yavaş, with Özgür Özel's knowledge.'
'HE DOESN'T WANT YAVAŞ TO WEAR OUT'
Continuing his statement, Özçelik alleged that the CHP leadership is trying to protect Mansur Yavaş in view of a potential presidential process.
'He doesn't want Mansur Yavaş to be overly worn out. Because he is a strong candidate, a candidate who can win,' said Özçelik, whose remarks resonated widely in political circles.
