A claim that has given hope to the world regarding peace negotiations between the USA and Iran has emerged. The US press reported that Washington and Tehran have reached an agreement, and Trump's approval is awaited for final confirmation.

The US press claimed that "an agreement has been reached with Iran, awaiting Trump's final approval."

TRUMP'S APPROVAL AWAITED

Following the escalating military tension in the region between the US and Iran, it was alleged that the two countries have agreed on a comprehensive peace deal. According to reports in the American press, a draft "Memorandum of Understanding" has been prepared as a result of negotiations between the two sides.

Only the final approval of US President Donald Trump is now awaited for the agreement on the table to take effect and become official.

WHITE HOUSE DENIES "HORMUZ AGREEMENT" CLAIM

On the other hand, the White House had firmly denied claims in a statement the previous day that a draft agreement had been prepared, which envisaged transferring management of ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz to Iran and Oman and withdrawing US troops from the region. The official statement said that the text of the memorandum of understanding put forward by Iranian sources was entirely fabricated.

IRAN STATE TV: 14-ARTICLE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING READY

Iran's state television, meanwhile, had published a report claiming to have obtained an "unofficial first document" regarding the framework of a 14-article memorandum of understanding prepared between Iran and the US with Pakistan's mediation.

According to the information in the report, within the framework of the potential agreement, the US had committed to lifting the naval blockade against Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran had also agreed to restore commercial ship passages to pre-tension levels within one month.

"IRAN AND OMAN WILL COORDINATE TRANSITS IN THE STRAIT"

The draft stated that military vessels were excluded from the scope of the agreement, and the management and routing of ship passages would be carried out in cooperation with Iran and Oman.

"US AGREED TO WITHDRAW TROOPS FROM THE REGION"

The document also conveyed that the US had committed to withdrawing its military forces from the region around Iran, but negotiations were ongoing regarding whether this covered forces later deployed to the area or troops stationed at existing bases.
