PRICE HIKE ON MOVING DAY

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on 15 February Street in İnönü Neighborhood of Gümüşhane. About a month ago, a public official, who got a relocation order to another province, made a deal with a moving company for 50,000 TL to transport household goods. While the parties agreed on the price, on the day of the move, the moving company allegedly stated that the previously agreed fee was no longer valid and demanded 80,000 TL for the move.

THREATS AND ATTACK

An argument broke out between the citizen, who objected to the unexpected price increase, and the company employees. According to the citizen's claim, the argument quickly escalated, and the moving company employees hurled insults and threats and attempted physical violence.

The individual, who started recording with a mobile phone during the scuffle, captured both the attempted attacks and the threats directed at him. The incident was brought under control before escalating further, as nearby citizens intervened, and the parties were separated.
