Horror of father in Balıkesir: He killed his 18-year-old daughter by suffocating her.

In Gönen district of Balıkesir, 18-year-old Eylem Sevilen was killed by her father Murat Sevilen after an argument. After the murder, the father fled the house, while Eylem's lifeless body was found by her mother who came home from work.

The incident took place around 20.00 in Karşıyaka Neighborhood, 40016 Street in Gönen district. Murat Sevilen, who is claimed to have psychological problems, started arguing with his daughter Eylem Sevilen. Murat Sevilen strangled his daughter to death and fled the house as the argument escalated. After a while, the mother, who came home from work, encountered her daughter's lifeless body.

MURDER SUSPECT FATHER SURRENDERED

Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Eylem Sevilen's lifeless body was taken to Gönen State Hospital after the examination at the scene, and then sent to the morgue of Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy. Meanwhile, the father Murat Sevilen surrendered to the police after a while, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
