Hot weather is affecting Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa; in Gaziantep, temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius drove citizens to seek shade, while in Şanlıurfa, thermometers recorded 49 degrees Celsius. People tried to cool off in parks and green areas.

SCORCHING HEAT IN GAZİANTEP
In Gaziantep, where the air temperature is measured at over 40 degrees Celsius in places, citizens are spending time in shaded areas due to the effect of the hot weather. Due to the hot weather, the density on busy streets and avenues has decreased, and some citizens tried to cool off by washing their faces at fountains.
In one of the city's busiest spots, 15 July Democracy Square and its surroundings, there was a calmness due to the hot weather.
THERMOMETERS SHOWED 49 DEGREES IN ŞANLIURFA
In Şanlıurfa, one of Turkey's hottest cities, thermometers showed 49 degrees. City residents, wanting to protect themselves from the heat, are trying to cool off in parks and green areas in the Balıklıgöl Campus.
It was observed that some citizens used umbrellas and hats to protect themselves from the sun, while others frequently washed their hands and faces to cool down. Due to the high temperature, a calmness was observed in some areas of the city.
