AMBASSADOR'S GIFT OF JERSEY AND BALL
Netanyahu, meeting with Argentina's Ambassador to Israel Shimon Axel Wahnish, received an Argentine jersey and football as gifts, then listened to Milei's voice message on the ambassador's phone. Calling Milei "a true friend," Netanyahu stated that both he and the majority of the Israeli people support Argentina in the final, saying in Spanish, "Vamos Argentina!" (Let's go Argentina).
Listening to Javier Milei's voice message through the ambassador, Netanyahu continued his support for the Argentine leader and people with these words:
"Javier, you are a true friend. We support Argentina in countless ways, including tomorrow. I don't hide that I support Argentina. I think most Israeli citizens are also backing Argentina. Good luck!"
2026 FIFA WORLD CUP CHAMPION TO BE DECIDED TOMORROW
The World Cup champion will be determined by the final match to be played tomorrow. Spain and Argentina will face off in the final, to be held in New Jersey, USA, starting at 22:00 Turkish time.
The final match at the New York New Jersey Stadium will be officiated by Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic. The 46-year-old Vincic's assistants will be Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic. The fourth official for the match will be Adham Makhadmeh from the Jordan Football Federation.
