In the Taşlıkara neighborhood of the Siverek district in Şanlıurfa, hundreds of people gathered for a rain prayer. The locals sacrificed 10 animals and prayed together for rain to fall.

10 SHEEP WERE SLAUGHTERED
Here, the residents prayed together for rain and later ate meals prepared from the meat of the 10 sheep that were slaughtered.
DROUGHT CONCERNS
Resident Sefer Sarıçiçek stated that the lack of rainfall has worried them, saying, "As residents of the neighborhood, we went out for a rain prayer as a family due to the ongoing drought in our region. We sacrificed animals and prayed for rain."
