Prime Minister of Hungary Peter Magyar, who came to our country to attend the 2-day NATO Summit held in Turkey, crowned his Turkey tour with a holiday after his official programs. Having taken an extensive cultural tour in Istanbul before the summit and then visiting the Tökeli Imre Memorial House, created in the name of the legendary Hungarian leader Tökeli Imre, in Kocaeli, Magyar did not hide his admiration for Turkey.
Instead of returning to his country after the official meetings, the Hungarian Prime Minister stayed in Turkey and turned his holiday route to Antalya, the capital of tourism, with his two sons. Collecting the fun moments he had during the 4-day holiday in a clip, Magyar shared these images with his followers on his social media account.
HE HAD FUN AND RESPONDED TO CRITICISMS
In the colorful clip released, Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar was seen recharging his energy on the beaches of Antalya. Using a jet-ski in the sea, having fun sliding down a water slide with his children, and walking on the beach with his slippers in hand, Magyar's sincere demeanor attracted great attention in a short time.
As his holiday became a trending topic on social media and brought some criticism, Prime Minister Magyar added a clear note under the clip he shared, stating, "I spent a long weekend in Turkey with my children, covering all expenses myself," but the total expenditure of the holiday was not disclosed to the public.
Meanwhile, Magyar also announced that he refused to use the Prime Ministerial budget and preferred commercial airlines instead of military aircraft.
HIS LOVE FOR TURKEY DREW ATTENTION
Drawing attention with both his respect for historical ties and his interest in Turkey's natural beauties, Peter Magyar, with this move, highlighted Turkey as a family holiday destination beyond diplomatic contacts.
