An event that plunged the music world into mourning occurred in the Bodrum district of Muğla. Percussion artist Hüseyin Cebeci, who was once part of the Kurtalan Ekspres lineup and shared the stage with Barış Manço, was found dead in his home.
FOUND SHOT WITH A HUNTING RIFLE
The incident took place on Müsgebi Street in the Müsgebi neighborhood of Bodrum. According to the information obtained, relatives who had not heard from Cebeci for a long time became suspicious and went to his home. Upon entering the house, his relatives found the famous musician lying motionless on the floor, shot with a hunting rifle.
MEDICAL TEAMS CONFIRMED HIS DEATH
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. The 112 Emergency Health teams, who arrived at the scene quickly, determined that Hüseyin Cebeci had lost his life during their initial check.
According to a report by Kenan Gürbüz from Muğla Gazetesi; while police teams took security measures around the house and its vicinity, a detailed investigation was launched at the scene. It was reported that whether Cebeci's death was a suicide or due to a different cause will become clear after criminal investigations.
HIS BODY WAS SENT TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE INSTITUTION
The body of the famous musician was taken to the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institution morgue to determine the exact cause of death. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Following the tragic news, a condolence message was also shared from the account of the İBB Culture, Arts and Social Affairs Department.
