The famous artist's grandson, Baran Karakeçili, claimed he was threatened and insulted by his grandfather, announcing that he would initiate legal proceedings. The statement came after Tatlıses announced that he would leave his inheritance to the state.
The long-standing crisis between famous Turkish singer İbrahim Tatlıses and his family has come to the forefront again. Tatlıses, who was hospitalized for some time due to health issues and made striking statements about his will after being discharged, is now being discussed due to accusations from his grandson Baran Karakeçili.
Baran Karakeçili claimed in a post on his social media account that he was threatened by his grandfather. Karakeçili's statements quickly caused a stir in the entertainment news agenda.

In his post, Baran Karakeçili said, “I was threatened by a person, my mother, and my sister on behalf of my grandfather İbrahim Tatlıses, and additionally insulted.”
Karakeçili also stated that he would initiate legal proceedings with his lawyer, saying, “My lawyer, along with evidence, will take the necessary legal steps and file a criminal complaint regarding the matter.”
