Famous drummer Ahmet İzgi was laid to rest in his hometown of Balıkesir after passing away in Istanbul. The funeral ceremony held for İzgi, who was the drummer for İbrahim Tatlıses, was attended by his family and citizens.
The funeral of Ahmet İzgi, known as "drummer Ahmet," who passed away due to an illness in Istanbul, was held in his hometown of Balıkesir.
The funeral of 53-year-old İzgi, who played drums for many years in artist İbrahim Tatlıses's orchestra, was brought to Bandırma, Balıkesir, his hometown, by his relatives. A ceremony was held at Çınarlı Şevkiye Mosque at noon, attended by İzgi's relatives and citizens. After the prayer, İzgi's funeral was buried at Bandırma City Cemetery.

Sharing the sad news on his social media account, İbrahim Tatlıses stated, "We are experiencing deep sorrow in bidding farewell to our drummer Ahmet, who was the source of joy for our stage and orchestra. I wish him mercy from God and offer my condolences to his family and all his loved ones."
