IETT bus crashed into 4 vehicles!

An IETT bus in Kağıthane allegedly collided with 4 parked cars while the driver was asleep at the wheel while going uphill. The terrifying moments were captured on camera, but there were no fatalities or injuries in the accident.

DRIVER ALLEGEDLY FELL ASLEEP

The accident occurred yesterday around 06:20 in Kağıthane Merkez Mahallesi. According to allegations, Nizamettin E., the driver of the IETT bus with route number 50C from Eyüpsultan Alibeyköy to Şişli, fell asleep at the wheel while going uphill in the morning. The out-of-control bus collided with parked cars on the side of the road before coming to a stop. Four cars were damaged in the accident, but there were no fatalities or injuries. The moment of the accident was captured on a security camera.

DRIVER'S STATEMENT TAKEN

After the accident, police teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report. The police quickly arrived at the scene and took the statement of driver Nizamettin E. at the police station. The police conducted an investigation at the scene and removed the bus and cars from the scene. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
