When famous singer Ebru Yaşar, vacationing in France's world-renowned holiday region Saint-Tropez, craved her homeland's famous Diyarbakır watermelon, she found the solution by having a watermelon specially brought from Turkey. Upon her request, the watermelon was sent on its way and traveled a full 4,000 kilometers from Diyarbakır to Saint-Tropez to reach the famous singer.

FIRST, A SPECIAL DELIVERY PHOTO CAME
Sharing on her social media account, Ebru Yaşar first published a photo of the whole watermelon delivered to her. The famous singer wrote on the photo, "Watermelon that reaches Saint-Tropez from Diyarbakır via Bodrum, you are one of us too," and announced the special route the watermelon traveled with airplane emojis.
THEN SHE SLICED AND TASTED IT
Yaşar, who also shared the moments of slicing and eating the watermelon after it arrived in Saint-Tropez, wrote on the slice she held, "Honestly, as charming as Diyarbakır... sweet," praising the flavor of her hometown.
The approximately 4,000-kilometer journey of the watermelon, starting from Diyarbakır and extending to Bodrum and the French coast, attracted great attention on social media.
