THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED AND HE REACHED FOR HIS GUN
The incident occurred in the Ali İhsan Paşa neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between lawyer U.Ç. and lawyer Gökhan Katırcı for a reason that has not yet been determined. During the argument, which quickly escalated, U.Ç. fired at Gökhan Katırcı with the pistol he had on him, hitting him twice. After the incident, upon the notification of those nearby, Katırcı was taken to the hospital by ambulance by the health teams that arrived at the scene.
THE FLEEING LAWYER WAS CAUGHT WITHIN HALF AN HOUR
The other lawyer, U.Ç., who fled after the incident, was caught and taken into custody, along with the weapon he used, approximately half an hour later following the pursuit by police teams. It was learned that Katırcı, who was seriously injured in the incident, was the former provincial chairman of the Victory Party and had resigned about 10 days ago.
It was reported that a comprehensive investigation was launched by the prosecutor's office after the incident.
