The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that a drug operation has been launched against 25 suspects, including artists, actors, businesspeople, and operators. As part of the investigation, which also includes charges of "facilitating drug use and providing premises," nine celebrities, including famous singers Sıla, İlyas Yalçıntaş, and producer Fatih Aksoy, have been detained so far.

The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that detention decisions have been issued for 25 suspects known to the public as artists, actors, businesspeople, and operators within the scope of an investigation conducted in the fight against narcotics.

In a statement regarding the operation, the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said: "In an investigation carried out by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the fight against narcotics that threaten public health and safety, evidence supporting reasonable suspicion has been obtained that suspects known to the public as artists, actors, businessmen, and operators have used narcotic and stimulant substances, facilitated the use of narcotic substances, or provided locations for such use. Accordingly, instructions have been given to the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command to detain, search, conduct biological examinations, and take statements for 25 suspects on 16/07/2026, and then to present them before our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."
