Images have emerged of Shamsud Din Jabbar, a former U.S. soldier of Mexican descent, clashing with police during New Year's celebrations in New Orleans, the largest city in Louisiana. The footage taken from Officer Luis Robles' body camera captures the moments when the assailant opened fire on the police. U.S. POLICE FALLING TO THE GROUNDAfter Officer Robles approached the door, the air cushions in the truck deployed. At that moment, the assailant aimed his weapon at the police and fired several shots. As three officers quickly moved away from the truck, one police officer fell to the ground. It is unknown how many shots Jabbar fired at close range.
