In Nigeria, 28 people were killed and 49 were injured as a result of a collision between two buses.
In Nigeria's Ondo State, 28 people lost their lives and 49 were injured as a result of a collision between two buses. Samuel Ibitoye, the Ondo State Coordinator of the National Road Safety Organization, stated in a press release that two passenger buses collided in the Odigbo area on the Ore-Lagos highway.
CONCERNS OVER RISING DEATH TOLL
Ibitoye reported that 28 people died in the accident and 49 were injured. He mentioned that the injured were taken to the hospital and expressed concerns over the rising death toll. Ibitoye indicated that excessive speed may have caused the accident and warned drivers to be more cautious.
