A 2-month-old baby who suddenly fell ill while being breastfed by her mother in Bursa was taken to the hospital. The baby, who is believed to have aspirated breast milk into her trachea, unfortunately passed away despite all interventions.
A terrible incident occurred in the İnegöl district of Bursa. M.S. (34) and E.S. (30), a couple residing in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, welcomed their baby two months ago. E.S. started breastfeeding her baby last night.
MOTHER DIED WHILE BREASTFEEDING
The baby suddenly fell ill while being breastfed by her mother. Noticing that her baby was motionless, the mother immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The teams that arrived at the scene in a short time took the baby, who was receiving CPR, to İnegöl State Hospital. Despite all the efforts of the doctors here, the 2-month-old baby lost her life.
IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE BABY CHOKED ON BREAST MILK
The lifeless body of the baby was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue. The İnegöl Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the baby's death. Meanwhile, it is believed that the baby died because breast milk entered her trachea.
