Hours before the ceasefire agreement came into effect, planes belonging to the Israeli Army dropped brochures containing "sarcastic" statements showing the destruction caused by genocide in various regions of the Gaza Strip.

PHOTOS OF DESTROYED HOUSES WERE INCLUDED

According to eyewitnesses, the brochures feature images and photographs of houses destroyed by Israeli attacks, with some of them inscribed with "sarcastic" statements such as "Is victory at the door or not yet?" indicating the effects of genocide.

Another brochure includes drawings of crying children, elderly people, and women on the rubble of houses destroyed by Israeli attacks, with the caption "a new victory for resistance" written underneath.

CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT IN GAZA

Qatar, one of the mediating countries, announced on January 15 that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas regarding a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement, which will come into effect on Sunday, January 19, will consist of three phases, with the first 42 days seeing the release of 33 Israeli prisoners.

The agreement includes comprehensive humanitarian aid reaching the Gaza Strip, as well as allowing displaced Palestinians to return to their areas. The details of the second and third phases will be announced upon the completion of the first phase.
