According to the statement from the governorship, a total of 532 thousand 952 products were inspected during the inspections conducted in May. Violations of regulations were detected in 12 thousand 432 products.

The statement also revealed that the total fine imposed on businesses due to unjustified price increases was 39 million 399 thousand 712 lira.
The statement included, "In the inspections carried out by the Ankara Governorship Trade Provincial Directorate within the scope of the Price Tag Regulation in May; the number of inspected products was 532 thousand 952, the number of non-compliant products was 12 thousand 432, and the administrative fine imposed was 39 million 399 thousand 712 TL. Additionally, proceedings have been initiated against 936 companies on suspicion of unjustified price increases, and the companies whose defenses have been taken have been referred to the Unjust Price Evaluation Board. Inspections within the scope of combating price tags and unjustified price increases will continue," it was stated.
