OFFICIAL STATEMENT RELEASED
In a statement made by the federation, it was announced that "There has been a change in the candidate squad of our A National Team, which will face the United States in a friendly match on Saturday, June 7, in Hartford."
It was stated that "As a result of the examinations and tests conducted, it was determined that our national football player Salih Özcan, who sustained a knee injury during the training held in the USA yesterday, would not fully recover during the period of the friendly matches against the USA and Mexico, and therefore, it was decided to remove him from the candidate squad."
