The Ordinary Administrative and Financial General Assembly Meeting for the year 2024 was held at the Harbiye Auditorium of the ICC Istanbul Congress Center in Beşiktaş. A decision was made regarding the former president Ahmet Nur Çebi and his administration during the general assembly.

ÇEBİ'S ADMINISTRATION WAS NOT ACQUITTED

The period of Ahmet Nur Çebi, who was in administration from June 1, 2023, to December 3, 2023, was not acquitted in terms of administrative and financial matters. The current president Hasan Arat's term, however, was acquitted by a majority vote in both administrative and financial aspects.

REACTION AFTER THE DECISION

After the acquittal decision of the general assembly, tensions rose again. Members reacted to former president Ahmet Nur Çebi, who was not acquitted in administrative and financial terms, by saying, "This is Beşiktaş, not Trabzon."

Former president Ahmet Nur Çebi entered the hall with a large group. During this time, some members next to Çebi applauded. Tension began when other members reacted to this applause. Although Ahmet Nur Çebi took his place in the hall, the tension continued.

At this time, club member İsmail Cevahir came to the stage and said something to the general assembly chair while pointing his finger. Club president Hasan Arat, second president Hüseyin Yücel, and some members in the hall reacted to Cevahir.

After İsmail Cevahir left the stage, a scuffle broke out among the members, turning into a fistfight. During the fight, some members tried to hit the other side with chairs.

The fight, which was difficult to calm down despite the intervention of those who intervened, was eventually continued with the congress.
