13 PEOPLE FACED THE JUDGE
In a written statement from the Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that 13 individuals, who were detained as part of the investigation into the criminal organization and prosecuted for various crimes, appeared before the judge at the Elazığ 5th Heavy Penal Court.
543-YEAR PRISON SENTENCE FOR THE LEADER
The statement noted the following: "The trial of the defendants in the public case initiated by the Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for offenses including establishing and managing an armed organization, attempted intentional homicide, attempted intentional homicide against police officers on duty, qualified robbery against business owners, armed threats by firing at workplaces, damaging public property, and violating Law No. 6136, was conducted by the Elazığ 5th Heavy Penal Court. As a result of the trial, it was decided to sentence the organization leader E.B. to a total of 543 years and 9 months in prison, the organization manager M.B. to a total of 209 years in prison, and other organization managers and members to prison terms ranging from 2 years and 6 months to 68 years, with the continuation of the defendants' detention."
