ROLLED SEVERAL METERS DURING RESCUE OPERATION
Footage has emerged of terrifying moments during the operation of emergency teams dispatched on August 22 in Italy to assist a 25-year-old climber who fell while climbing. During the rescue operation carried out in the Falzarego Towers area of the Dolomites, a healthcare worker lost their balance after the stretcher slipped and rolled down the rocky slopes.
TERRIFYING MOMENTS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
In the footage, as two rescue workers were placing the injured climber onto the stretcher, the stretcher suddenly slipped, and the healthcare worker rolled several meters down the rocky ground along with it. Small and medium-sized stones were also seen tumbling behind the doctor.
Both the injured climber and the doctor injured in the accident were treated at the scene. It was reported that the condition of both individuals was not life-threatening.
