Soner S., who lives in Konya, filed a criminal complaint claiming that his lawyer, Başak A., attempted to defraud him of 286,000 TL with fake documents. It was alleged that the lawyer prepared false receipts and court decisions, and then tried to destroy the evidence through a relationship established on social media.
Soner S., who lives in Konya, sought help from lawyer Başak A., registered with the İzmir Bar Association, after an enforcement proceeding was initiated following a property division case with his ex-wife. However, Soner S. claimed that the lawyer attempted to defraud him with fake documents and filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office.
LOST THE PROPERTY DIVISION CASE
Soner S. lost the property division case with his ex-wife. Following this, he needed to deposit approximately 10 million TL to protect himself against the enforcement proceeding initiated by his wife. When he could not afford this amount, the sale of the real estate registered in his name came to the agenda.
OFFER TO "STOP THE ENFORCEMENT FOR 250 THOUSAND TL"
According to a report in Sabah newspaper; Soner S. contacted lawyer Başak A. through acquaintances. The lawyer said she could stop the enforcement proceeding for 250 thousand TL. According to the agreement, Soner S. paid 25 thousand TL of the 50 thousand TL attorney fee in advance. After a while, Başak A. told her client that she had paid 286 thousand TL to the enforcement from her own pocket. However, it was soon understood that the receipt she presented for this payment was fake. Allegedly, Başak A. altered the collection receipt for a payment of 792 TL that Soner S. had previously made to the Salihli Enforcement Office, changing the series and serial number, and wrote 286 thousand TL on it.
PRESENTED A FAKE COURT DECISION AS REAL
Additionally, it was stated that Başak A. presented a fake decision for the suspension of enforcement, which she made to appear as if it was obtained from the İzmir 5th Enforcement Court, to Soner S., requesting a payment of 286 thousand TL while giving the impression that the matter was resolved. Noticing the situation, Soner S. took action to file a criminal complaint against his lawyer. During this process, Başak A. came to Konya and attempted mediation to avoid being reported, but was unsuccessful.
FINALLY INVOLVED DERYA
The allegations did not stop there. According to the prosecutor's petition; Başak A. connected a woman who introduced herself as "Derya" to Soner S. through social media. The aim was to manipulate Soner S. by establishing an emotional relationship and to eliminate the evidence against him. When their requests were met with negative responses, threatening messages were sent. Soner S. collected all the evidence and submitted it to the prosecutor's office, initiating the legal process.
