In the Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa, two women were rescued by citizens after the car they were in veered out of control and overturned into an irrigation canal, dragging them through the water. The life-threatening scene in the water and the rescue moments were captured on a mobile phone camera.
According to information obtained, the incident occurred near the rural Külünçe neighborhood of Uğurlu Mahallesi in the Eyyübiye district. The vehicle, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, went out of control and fell into the irrigation canal. While two women in the vehicle fell into the water, one person who entered the canal to rescue the women was also swept away by the current.
