THE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE HIT THE CAR FROM THE SIDE
According to the information obtained, the accident occurred at the Halfeti road junction on the highway connection road in the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa. A Mercedes Vito brand commercial vehicle with license plate 61 VS 420, whose driver's name has not yet been learned, hit the car with license plate 07 BJZ 451 from the side as it was exiting onto the highway connection road. The car was carrying people who had come from Diyarbakır to the Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa for a weekend trip.
2 PEOPLE DIED, 9 INJURED
Due to the accident, numerous UMKE teams, ambulances, and fire brigade units were dispatched to the area. Health teams arriving at the scene determined that Güneş Seydi and Zeynep Ecrin Seydi had lost their lives. The 9 people injured in the accident were taken by ambulances to Birecik State Hospital and Suruç State Hospital. It was learned that 2 of the injured under treatment are in serious condition.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
