BUNGALOW CAUGHT IN FLOODWATERS AND SWEPT AWAY
The heavy rain that intensified in Sapanca caused frightening scenes in Muradiye Neighborhood. After the rainfall, water levels in stream beds rose rapidly, and the force of the current increased. A bungalow located by the stream was torn from its place and caught by the stream due to the increased water flow. The structure, unable to withstand the strong current, was swept away together with the floodwaters. The moments when the bungalow was swept along in the stream were captured on camera. In the footage, the power of the water was seen to have reached a level that could sweep the structure away. The incident once again revealed the danger that heavy rainfall poses to structures along streams.
